Dear family and friends,
On July 18th, I will be participating in the Triple Crown for Heart charity ride to help raise funds for children with heart conditions. This year’s route is especially challenging due to construction at Cypress Mountain — instead of the usual course, we will climb Mt. Seymour, Grouse Mountain, and finish back at Mt. Seymour, covering 83 km with over 2,400 m of climbing in one morning.
This event is deeply meaningful to my family. When our son was three years old, he was admitted to BC Children’s Hospital and diagnosed with Kawasaki disease. Thanks to the dedicated care and expertise of the doctors and medical team, he recovered and avoided serious damage to his heart. My wife and I will always be grateful for the compassionate care they provided during such a difficult time.
By participating in this ride, I hope to give back and support the incredible work they continue to do for children and families every day. Any donation, big or small, would be sincerely appreciated.
