The date for this year’s 10th anniversary ride is Saturday July 20th and funds raised will go towards the heart and acute medical unit of the hospital as well as for special programs for heart families. This year, in partnership with the Children's Heart Network (a not-for-profit my wife Tracey chairs), we are dedicating money to send heart families to camp.
A reminder of the TC4H ride itself (www.triplecrownforheart.ca) The route is meant to look like a heartbeat on an EKG monitor and has participants climbing all three North Shore mountains in one day over a distance of 75km with over 2000 metres of elevation. To put it in perspective, this gruelling ride has the same elevation gain as Vancouver to Whistler! A very challenging day but nothing compared to what heart children and their families endure.
Please give generously for the amazing kids in our heart community ! If you can join me on the ride, I'd love to have you there. If you're available to volunteer, we can always use a helping hand.
