Welcome to our Triple Crown for Heart fundraising page!
On July 20th Kira and I (with some friends) will tackle all three North Shore Mountains (Seymour, Grouse and Cypress) by bike in the 10th annual Triple Crown for Heart ride. That's about 2000 m elevation in a 75km ride. For the locals, that's up Silver Star and back up to about the switchbacks again. Sounds like fun...
The ride benefits the BC Children's Hospital Heart Unit and Children's Heart Network to send kids to Camp Zajac.
We’ve set a pretty lofty goal of $1000, BUT here's what we propose - the swag offered to riders for reaching the levels below will be raffled to everyone who donates. We’ll put your names (proportional to your donation, of course) in a hat and draw the lucky winners. You may find yourself owning a $100 skull cap AND have the warm, fuzzy feeling of helping kids.
Bronze Circle Fundraisers ($200 level) – Triple Crown for Heart Cycling Socks
Silver Circle Fundraisers ($500 level) – Triple Crown for Heart Skull Cap
Gold Circle Fundraisers ($750 level) – Triple Crown for Heart Arm Warmers
Donations of $20 or more will receive a charitable donation tax receipt at the end of the year. (Don't let that affect your donation though - think chance of winning cool cycling gear! $200/$1000 = 20% chance!) Unless we raise $2000... then you're screwed.
Anyway, we get to suffer and you alleviate the suffering of some unfortunate kids. Win-win!
