It’s time to triple crown for ❤️!
Each year I put this ride in my calendar…some years I am more prepared than others to cycle up 3 local mountains 🫣
This year Miss Evelyn has inspired me with her discovery of riding a bike…🙏 No training wheels ever! And, aside from her amazing parents and Evelyns incredible tenacity- her being a patient at @bcchildrenshospital where she is cared for by an incredible team dedicated to her best life possible- she is talking about her next ride!
Our kids, grandkids spend too many hours at Dr apts, in hospital line ups, and waiting for results to determine where they will end up next…
The donations to @triplecrownforheart ride provide children with opportunities to be part of childhood activities like a summer camp…with doctors and nurses, and summer camps is where our kids should be!
This year long time friend and athlete Paul, will be part of triple crown for heart as he supports the care of one of his favorite people ..grandson Brooks!
On July 19th, Paul and I will tackle all three North Shore Mountains (Seymour, Grouse and Cypress) by bike in the 14th annual Triple Crown for Heart. The ride benefits the BC Children's Hospital Heart Unit and Children's Heart Network to send kids to Camp Zajac. We would be grateful for your sponsorship and pledge of faith that I can do this!Donations of $20 or more will receive a charitable donation tax receipt at the end of the year.
